I’m a photographer and retreat host based in Seattle. I’ve led more than eighteen retreats for women across Iceland, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the American West, and I photograph weddings and elopements in between.

What I do well: I notice the small things. The light at 4pm. The moment a quiet woman is about to say something important. The place a photo wants to be taken.

My work has always been about creating the conditions where the real things happen. Then being ready with a camera, or a question, or just a good seat by the fire.

Meet your host

In 2022 I bought a small piece of land in the high desert outside Joshua Tree and called it That Desert Space. The plan, from the start, was to gather women here. To build something slow and intentional on land I could shape with my own hands.

That’s what’s happening now. Women have come, and the land has started to remember them. The firepit has its spot. The kitchen has its rhythms. The mornings are as quiet as I always hoped they’d be.

Every dollar from this retreat goes back into the property. Into water systems, the kitchen, the places to sit and gather, into making this a space that can hold many more women for many more years. When you come, you become part of that story.
