I'm a photographer and retreat host based in Seattle. For the past seven years I co-led more than fifteen retreats across Iceland, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the American West, alongside building a wedding and elopement photography practice. This is my first retreat under just my own name.

What I do well: I notice the small things. The light at 4pm, the moment a quiet woman is about to say something important, the place a photo wants to be taken. My work has always been about creating the conditions where the real things happen — and then being ready with a camera, or a question, or just a good seat by the fire.

In 2022 I bought a small piece of land in the high desert outside Joshua Tree. I called it That Desert Space. The plan, from the start, was to gather women here. To build something slow and intentional on land I could shape with my own hands. For reasons that aren't worth getting into, that didn't happen the way I imagined it would.

This retreat is the first one I'm holding at That Desert Space. After years of waiting, the door is finally open.

Every dollar from this retreat goes back into the property — into water systems, into the kitchen, into the firepit, into making this a place that can hold many more women, for many more years. You're not just coming on a retreat. You're helping build the next chapter of a space that's been quietly waiting for you.
