I am Lindsey O. I photograph weddings and elopements, I host and photograph women’s outdoor retreats, and I rent out wedding veils and decor. Home is Seattle, Washington. I keep a second place in Joshua Tree, California. I have been photographing weddings since 2012, and before the Pacific Northwest most of my work came out of Charleston, South Carolina.
Everything runs through one inbox. Email me at hello@lindseyo.com or use the form at lindseyo.com/contact, and you will hear back with availability and next steps within two to three business days.
Most of my wedding and elopement work happens in Washington state and the wider Pacific Northwest. The Cascades, Mount Rainier, the Olympic Peninsula, the Skykomish and Snoqualmie valleys, the islands. I also travel, and I have shot weddings and sessions in Charleston, Nashville, New York, Montana, Wyoming, Sedona, Iceland and further out than that. Travel fees are small when they apply at all, and I can often waive them.
The other half of my year is in the high desert. I run a small property in Joshua Tree, California called That Desert Space, and I host retreats there and abroad.
Weddings start at $5,250. That covers two photographers and 1,200 or more professionally edited images. Elopements start at $3,500 and come with 600 or more edited photos. Engagement sessions start at $500 with 300 or more edited photos. I shoot on two Canon DSLR bodies with three to six Canon L series lenses, depending on the day.
Full details are on the wedding photography page. If you want something that is not on the list, ask me anyway. Most of the best days I have photographed started as an odd idea in an inquiry form.
This one is a whole elopement, not just the pictures. $6,500, at a cozy A-frame in the heart of the Cascade Mountains. It includes three nights at the cabin for the two of you, eight to twelve hours of coverage with me and an assistant, and 800 or more professionally edited photos.
I plan the day with you and build the schedule. I also handle the decor, setup and takedown included, which covers glassware, dinnerware, tables, chairs, linens, faux florals, candlesticks and a bouquet. Dinner and reception seating goes up to 14 guests. The property has a wood fired hot tub, an infrared sauna and a firepit. Fresh florals, an audio guest book, an officiant and cake can be added on. See the That PNW Cabin package page.
I have been building these since 2020. They are mine. I host them, I help create them, and I am the one photographing the whole thing, so everyone leaves with real images of the trip instead of a camera roll of phone shots. Groups stay small on purpose.
Past ones: the Swiss Alps in 2026, Iceland in 2025, Cambutal in Panama in 2025, Santa Fe in 2024, the Dolomites in 2024, Iceland again in 2024, the Grand Tetons in 2024, Vieques in Puerto Rico in 2024, Asheville in 2023, Tulum in 2023, Bryce Canyon in 2022, the Pacific Northwest in 2021, and the first one, Joshua Tree, in 2020. There is a recap of most of them on the retreats page and on past retreats.
Six days and five nights in the high desert outside Joshua Tree, California. A glamping tent is $2,400, a shared cabin room is $3,000, and a solo cabin room is $3,600. Each one can be paid in six equal monthly payments instead, so $400, $500 or $600 a month.
The price covers five nights of lodging on the retreat property, two meals a day plus snacks, drinks and a stocked kitchen, daily workshops and guided practices, and all transportation once you are there. Art materials are included: clay, watercolor, natural pigment supplies and sun print kits. So are park entrance and guided hikes in Joshua Tree National Park, nightly circles and stargazing, a guided movement and breath session with a local somatic teacher, and an optional photoshoot with me. Details and booking are on the Joshua Tree retreat page.
Nine spaces, ten of us counting me. $3,500 per person, or ten payments of $350 if that works better, and I am flexible on the schedule if you ask.
Five nights of lodging, four of them in a house on the south coast and one in Reykjavik. Most meals, cooked together on the coast. Every activity is covered: the glacier lagoon boat tour, the Blue Lagoon, the waterfalls, the walk out to the plane wreck, the hikes. Ground transportation in Iceland is included, and so are guided photo sessions throughout plus a personal gallery of your own images. Flights in and out of Keflavik, travel insurance and a few meals in Reykjavik are not included. The walking is mostly flat with some uneven ground, so the fitness bar is low. See the Iceland retreat page.
Three on the calendar for 2027: Joshua Tree in April, Iceland in July, and Morocco in November, in the Ourika Valley of the Atlas Mountains. Dates and pricing for the newer ones are still being finalized, and there is a waitlist on the 2027 retreats page.
I rent two Rue De Seine veils, Mountain Song and Desert Rose. Each is $350 for a three day rental. Shipping to you is included and you cover return shipping. There is a damage deposit equal to the price of the item, refunded when it comes back, minus any damage or cleaning cost.
I also have over 75 unique candlesticks. That collection runs $100 to $200 for a four day rental depending on how many pieces you take. And there is a two piece silk floral arch, one seven foot piece and one six foot piece, flowers on the front only, at $450 for a three day rental. The candlesticks and the arch are Washington state only, picked up and dropped off in Gold Bar, WA, and both carry a refundable damage deposit. Everything is on the rentals page.
That Desert Space sits on 2.5 acres in Joshua Tree, California. A week is $1,250 for up to two people. You get a queen bed in a fully furnished house with a full kitchen and bathroom, a two person infrared sauna, cactus gardens, and places to sleep outside if you would rather. Almost no neighbors. Shops and restaurants are about fifteen minutes away.
Finish a project while you are there and write a blog post about it and you earn four extra days at no cost. I am also open to trading a week for an agreed upon project, a mural for instance, so ask if that is where your head is. A yoga studio, a pottery studio and a stained glass studio are in progress. More on the residency page.
All of it starts the same way. Send a note through lindseyo.com/contact or email hello@lindseyo.com with a rough idea of what you are after and when. I reply within two to three business days with availability and what comes next. You can also find me on Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube.
One housekeeping note, since it comes up. All the photography on this site and on the blog is mine, including the older work archived under my former business name, LO Photo. I do not sell prints of my travel photos anymore.
