Paros is a less tourist-traveled island in Greece, and I am so glad I went — everything about it was just perfect.
An Island Less Traveled
To start, the locals are SUPER friendly and love to hang out. It’s a relaxed lifestyle on Paros, the kind of place where nobody’s in a hurry and everyone seems genuinely happy to talk to you, tourist or not. Compared to some of Greece’s more crowded islands, Paros felt like a place still mostly kept by the people who actually live there.
Stone Streets, Pink Blossoms, and Cats
The streets are beautiful, stone-lined, and dotted with pink flowering trees that make every alley look like it was styled for a photo. And just like every other part of Greece, there are plenty of cats and kittens who will happily follow you around for the length of a walk.
