This one was a passion project through and through – a forest bridal styled shoot built entirely around mood, texture, and romance.
For this session, I got to wear a few different hats – handling wardrobe, styling, florals, and photography for a series of bridal styled portraits set against a soft, green forest backdrop. There’s something I love about styled shoots like this one: no timeline to keep, no reception to run to, just space to chase beautiful light and let the details shine.
Hair and makeup for this shoot came from the team at Contours & Curls in Charleston, South Carolina – their work brought the whole look together, from soft, romantic waves to a bridal glow that held up through every frame.
If you’re dreaming up a styled bridal session of your own – whether it’s forest, garden, or somewhere entirely unexpected – I’d love to help bring the vision to life.
Most of the pieces I style with live in my own collection, and I rent veils and decor out to brides now.

A styled bridal shoot is a creative session built around wardrobe, florals, hair, and makeup, designed purely for beautiful bridal portraits – no wedding required.
Yes – I love collaborating with stylists and artists like Contours & Curls in Charleston to create romantic, editorial bridal portrait sessions.
If you are still deciding on a veil, here is what I rent and what it costs.
