Behind the Cheeky Swim Campaign, Modeled by Lindsey O.

Every now and then I get to trade places, stepping in front of the camera instead of behind it. This international swimwear campaign for Cheeky Swim is one of my favorite examples of being on both sides of the camera.

An international shoot for Cheeky Swim

These images were modeled by me and shot by the talented Reagan Aleea Photography, alongside Samantha Rueter, and featured on Cheeky Swim. A second set was captured by photographer Pat Black across Australia, Indonesia, and New Zealand, three very different coastlines, three very different kinds of light, all tied together by the same easy, sun-soaked energy that swimwear photography calls for.

Modeling, styling, and editing

For the Pat Black set, I stepped into every role, modeling, styling, and editing the final images myself. It is a different kind of creative exercise than shooting a client session, and one I genuinely love: thinking through composition and story from the other side of the lens gives me an even deeper appreciation for what I ask of the people I photograph.
