Tomi & Daniel’s Intimate Micro Wedding on Moses Lake
Intimate, backyard weddings are some of my favorite days to photograph, so I jumped at the chance when Tomi and Daniel told me what they had in mind. This one was small, sunny, and full of heart.
A small wedding with a big international story
Tomi and Daniel kept their day small, just close family and friends on the shores of Moses Lake. Because the groom’s family is from Germany, they had three officiants on hand, so everyone in the crowd could understand what was being said during the ceremony. It’s one of my favorite kinds of detail: a wedding day built to genuinely include everyone there.
Bright orange, lime green, and summer on the lake
The bride wanted her favorite colors woven through the day, bright orange and lime green, and against the water and long summer light on Moses Lake, they set off exactly the kind of warm, sun-drenched vibe she was going for.
