Snow, Hot Springs, and Engagement Photos in Snoqualmie, WA
There’s nothing like coming home to the Pacific Northwest for Christmas and finding it buried in snow. This trip took me on a 9-mile hike through the snow with friends to Goldmeyer Hot Springs, and then up to Snoqualmie Pass for something entirely different: my best friend’s engagement photos.
The hike to Goldmeyer Hot Springs
Tucked into the mountains outside Snoqualmie, Washington, Goldmeyer Hot Springs is only reachable by trail — a 9-mile round trip through snow-covered forest that made the natural hot springs waiting at the end feel completely earned.
Engagement photos at Gold Creek
From there, I headed up to Snoqualmie Pass and Gold Creek with one of my best friends and her fiance to photograph their engagement. Snow-covered evergreens and that quiet, crisp PNW light made for exactly the kind of backdrop I love shooting in.
