Ciarra and AJ came to me to capture their love, even though they had already said their I Dos, and honestly, that says everything about how much this couple values celebrating each other. It was a genuine pleasure to photograph their connection in a place as sacred-feeling as Joshua Tree.

The juxtaposition of the giant stones against the desert sky makes for incredible shots, and these two leaned into the Joshua Tree vibes with total ease. It was a pleasure to capture their relationship in such a special place; inclusive photography matters to every couple, and this session captured the love between two astounding people. The stark, wide-open desert has a way of stripping everything back to what actually matters: two people, present with each other.
