There’s something special about photographing a couple all the way from “will you marry me” to “meet our daughter.” That’s exactly the arc I got to witness with the Pittis family.
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing the Pittis family ever since they asked me to photograph their engagement and wedding. They’re the kind of couple who make every session easy and fun, so when their daughter was born in March, I was thrilled they invited me back – this time into their home – to capture her first days.
Capturing your little one in those first months of life matters, because they’re never going to be this small again. There’s something I love about photographing couples through every season of their life together: the proposal, the wedding day, and now the quiet, sleepy newness of new parenthood, all from the comfort of their own home.
Sessions like this one are exactly why I love long-term client relationships. Getting to watch the Pittis family grow from newlyweds into new parents – and being trusted with those in-between moments – is one of the most rewarding parts of this work.
Are you welcoming a little one soon? I’d love to capture these fleeting first days for you to look back on as they grow into amazing humans.

It’s a relaxed newborn photo session shot right in your own home, capturing your baby’s first days in familiar, cozy surroundings instead of a studio.
I recommend booking within the first two to three weeks after birth, while babies are still extra sleepy and snuggly.
I do – some of my favorite sessions are with couples I’ve photographed through multiple seasons of life, from engagement to wedding to welcoming their first baby.
