I got to spend the day with Rose – someone I’ve known for years – and her husband at their gorgeous a-frame cabin out by Lake Wenatchee, not far from Leavenworth and Stevens Pass. There’s something about that particular corner of the PNW, tucked between mountains and pine, that makes everyone slow down the second they arrive.
The cabin I’ve always dreamed about
I’ve wanted an a-frame cabin in this area for as long as I can remember, so getting to spend a full day photographing Dan and Rose here felt a little like living out my own daydream alongside theirs. We wandered the property as the light moved through the trees, no rush, no agenda beyond letting them just be together.
