Nikki and Robbie live a simple, good life on their farm – and these engagement photos capture exactly that, animals and all.
Capturing their love wasn’t difficult. Nikki and Robbie have a genuine adoration for each other that shone through the whole session, the kind of easy affection that’s hard to fake in front of a camera.
Their home turf in Snohomish, WA made for an incredible backdrop – crisp country air, buzzing wildlife, and all the charm of a working farm. The horses, chickens, and pups in these photos all belong to the couple, and they only added to the shoot’s one-of-a-kind aesthetic.
I love that family photography doesn’t have to look one particular way. Nikki and Robbie’s farm family – fur babies included – is exactly the kind of inclusive, real-life love story I want to keep photographing.
If Snohomish’s countryside sounds like the setting for your engagement or family photos, let’s talk.

Absolutely – Nikki and Robbie’s horses, chickens, and dogs were all part of their session, and pets or farm animals often add some of the most genuine, memorable moments.
Snohomish’s countryside offers open pastures, working farms, and a quiet, rural energy that’s a refreshing change from more traditional PNW backdrops.
Most farm or country engagement sessions run about one to two hours, giving us time to move between a few different spots on the property without rushing.
