Francesca reached out to me months before she ever popped the question – that’s how much planning went into surprising her girlfriend, Nicole, with a proposal in the mountains of South Carolina.
A road trip proposal at a Charleston-area treehouse
Francesca planned a road trip down the coast from New York to Atlanta and then on to Charleston, before popping the question at a cozy, whimsical treehouse at Bolt Farm. I arrived the following day to document the after – the glow, the ring, the giddy retelling of how it all went down. We laughed, popped champagne, admired Nicole’s stunning new ring, and got real cozy to show the intimate side of their relationship.
