Steve and Natalie are engaged, and so in love – I’ve genuinely never seen anybody look at someone the way Steve looks at Natalie.
For their session, we skipped the quiet park bench and went straight for the city’s pulse: the NYC subway and the blinding lights of Times Square. It’s not the softest, most romantic setting on paper, but that’s exactly what made it feel right for these two – bold, a little chaotic, and completely unforgettable.
There’s something about photographing a couple against the noise and motion of New York that makes their connection stand out even more. Steve and Natalie moved through the crowds like it was second nature, stealing glances and laughing between subway cars and skyscrapers, and the result is a set of engagement photos that could only have been made in this city.
If you’re dreaming of engagement photos with real New York energy – subway grit, Times Square lights, all of it – I’d love to plan your session.

It depends on the vibe you want – Times Square and the subway bring bold, energetic city photos, while parks and quieter streets offer a softer feel. Steve and Natalie’s session leaned into the city’s iconic chaos.
Yes – the subway makes for some of the most unique, unmistakably-New-York engagement photos, full of motion, light, and character you can’t find anywhere else.
Curious what a day like this runs? Here is my elopement pricing and what is included.
