Some trips are vacations. This one was a homecoming – to ourselves, and to each other. Our Ember + Solis women’s circle gathered on the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico this December, and from the moment we arrived – greeted by wild horses roaming the beaches – we knew we had landed somewhere sacred.
Vieques, with its untouched beaches and lush landscapes, became the perfect container for a week of deep reconnection, movement, and joy. Each morning we gathered for yoga under the golden glow of the rising sun, the sound of the waves a natural soundtrack to our breath. Our women’s circle became a sacred space – where we explored embodiment practices, breathwork, and the kind of honesty that cracks you open in the best way. We danced under the stars, shared stories that had not been spoken in years, and remembered the power of sisterhood.
One of the most profound experiences of the retreat was our Janzu water therapy sessions. Each of us surrendered fully, guided through warm ocean waters, floating effortlessly in a state of deep release – like being cradled by the sea itself, a baptism of renewal. And we remembered our inner magic in the world’s largest bioluminescent bay, kayaking through glowing waters to witness the world’s childlike essence. This is a trip we will truly never forget.
Every day since this retreat, I have missed every one of you. This trip has brought me so much peace and joy.
This experience restored my faith in sisterhood and showed me I am not alone. It provided a safe space for me for the first time in years. The Temazcal ceremony was my favorite – the connection and release of emotions was unbelievable.
This experience meant everything to me. You gave me the opportunity to meet incredible women and do incredible work within myself. It gave me confidence and quite literally awakened my soul.
It reminded me that there are a lot of beautiful, amazing people in this world. I discovered braveness in myself, and feel comfortable sharing things with others.
If your soul is longing for wild landscapes, deep rest, and a circle of women who feel like home, this is exactly the kind of experience we create together. Come find your magic with us.
